REFERRAL PROGRAM

The best compliment we can ever get from our customers, is a referral to their family and friends.  As our way of saying thanks, we have put in place our referral program which offers you a gift card from a wide variety of Australian retailers up to the value of $300.  There is a bit of fine print, terms and conditions are as follows:

 

  • ​To be eligible to receive a gift card, you must have previously applied for a loan with Street Wise Finance (you will be eligible to receive a gift card regardless of whether the finance went ahead or not).  Alternatively, you can pre-register to become a referrer by clicking here.​

  • Street Wise Finance must be advised at the time of taking the new application by either the referrer, or the new customer being referred, the name of the referrer and their contact information.

  • Gift cards are available from most major retailers, simply tell us what type of gift card you would like and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

  • This offer applies only to loans that have been settled.

  • Gift cards are distributed either electronically, in person or by registered mail on a monthly basis, in the month after the finance has proceeded.​​

  • Street Wise Finance accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise in connection with gift cards received and participants in our referral program should seek and rely on their own independent financial advice in this regard.​​

  • Street Wise Finance reserves the right to cancel, alter or amend the terms and conditions of the referral program without notice.​

  • The value of the gift card is based on the value of the new loan being referred to Street Wise Finance by the Referrer (determined at settlement), as per the following:

  • From time to time the Referrer may refer persons to the Finance Broker in relation to the Finance Broker for providing a particular Credit Activity to the Client.

  • The Referrer Agrees that:

    • They will not represent that they are our agent or representative.

    • Any referrals to the Finance Broker will be done in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Referrer Program.

    • They have not been convicted within the last ten years of serious fraud and are not subject to any order under State Crimes Acts

    • They are not banned from engaging in a credit activity under a state or territory law, or under Part 2-4 of the NCCP Act

  • The Referrer must:

    • Engage in the Referral Activities only as a matter incidental to the carrying on of a business that is not principally making contact with persons for the purpose of giving their names and other details to another person.

    • Only inform the Clients that the Finance Broker may be able to provide a particular Credit Activity to the Clients, not a specific product or any recommendations.

    • Refrain from discussing with the Client his or her credit requirements or objectives or financial circumstances.

    • Provide to the Finance Broker or the Aggregator any information or assistance reasonably requested by the Finance Broker or Aggregator to enable them to comply with its obligations under applicable laws; including under NCCP Act.

  • Finally, the Referrer indemnifies us for all loss which may be incurred by us in respect of any claims made by a consumer or any other person arising out of any unauthorised actions by you.
